by admin on Mar.29, 2010, under Computer, Gadgets, Mobile, News

You must be surprised looking at above picture, but its true the almost perfect HTC HD 2 is running Windows Phone 7 Series ROM.
Some clever Russian hackers have managed to get the HD2 running an early build of Microsoft’s upcoming mobile OS overhaul. Now we’ve got what looks to be the first screenies of the WP7S OS running on an HD2
Its virtually impossible with the current hardware of HTC HD 2 running WinMo 6.5 OS to ride WinMo 7 OS but somehow these guys made it possible.
According to sources almost everything is working including WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. However, the graphics driver is still showing problems and there is noticeable device lag.
Let’s see if HTC HD 2 could officially run WP7S ROM before Microsoft officially launches its device. Time will tell.

Adobe, No Flash in Windows Mobile 7
by admin on Feb.15, 2010, under Computer, Mobile, News, Technology

We know that Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 7 is expected to be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2010 convention at Barcelona. Now Adobe has issued a statement apparently confirming what we’ve already heard that Windows Mobile 7 will not support Flash. Adobe itself has apparently issued a statement confirming this news, reported Phone Scoop.
The official statement issued by Adobe says:
"Microsoft and Adobe are working closely together. While the newest version of Windows Phone won’t support Flash at initial availability, both companies are working to include a browser plug-in for the full Flash player in future versions of Windows Phone. More details will be shared at Microsoft MIX next month."
This confirms our news assuming Adobe means Windows Mobile 7 when it talks about "the newest version of Windows Phone".
No support for Flash in a huge mobile operating system update sounds a bit disheartening since Flash is essential component of the mobile web. This is a really sad news for Windows Mobile users as multitasking in Windows Mobile 7 might not be there
