Windows Phone 7 Series ROM Running On HTC HD2

You must be surprised looking at above picture, but its true the almost perfect HTC HD 2 is running Windows Phone 7 Series ROM.
Some clever Russian hackers have managed to get the HD2 running an early build of Microsoft’s upcoming mobile OS overhaul. Now we’ve got what looks to be the first screenies of the WP7S OS running on an HD2
Its virtually impossible with the current hardware of HTC HD 2 running WinMo 6.5 OS to ride WinMo 7 OS but somehow these guys made it possible.
According to sources almost everything is working including WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. However, the graphics driver is still showing problems and there is noticeable device lag.
Let’s see if HTC HD 2 could officially run WP7S ROM before Microsoft officially launches its device. Time will tell.

Silicon Power releases Helios 101 Series USB Flash Drive

Silicon Power launches its new Helios 101 series USB flash drive. Sporting Apple Green and Ocean Blue colors, the Helios 101 series uses natural colors on polished aluminum casing. The design is futuristic, fashionable and finger-print proof.
To offer users a complete range of USB flash drives, the new Helios series complements the earlier Touch, LuxMini, Ultima and Unique series. The Helios 101 flash drives will also feature dongle holes to be hung as accessories or key-chains. The plug and play devices are designed for netbooks.
Silicon Power’s Helios will be made available in storage capacities ranging from 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. These USB flash drives have been tested and certified to offer compatibility with Microsoft Windows 7 and European’s RoHS Directives alongside lifetime warranty.
Sporting a matte aluminum surface, it measures 55.5 x 19.0 x 7.1 mm +/-0.3mm and weighs 10 grams. The flash drive comes with support for USB 2.0 and is also backward compatible with USB 1.1. It supports operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows Vista, WinXP, Win2000, Mac OS 9.0 and higher, and Linux 2.4.0.The pricing is yet to be announced.
ExoPC Slate arriving in March

Apple’s iPad tablet though attracted a lot of media but lacks notebooklike functionality which has disappointed a lot of people. The ExoPC slate has been revealed in a 8.9” form factor.
According to Engadget, the tablet PC sports a 8.9” multi-touch form factor and seems to offer a lot of the features that seem lacking in the 9.7″ iPad, though the latter was never really advertised as a tablet PC. The ExoPC will extend full browser support as well as flash through Windows 7.
The slate will have an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and 2GB of DDR2 memory. It is cited to incorporate a 32GB SSD with SD expansion option. The user replaceable battery will deliver approximately four hours of battery life. Additionally, a non-multitouch prototype is currently available at $780 (approx. Rs.36,172).
The ExoPC slate with multitouch support will be there in market this March for $599 (approx. Rs.27,778).
