Research In Motion confirmed the acquisition of Swedish UI design company TAT. TAT team will be joining RIM and bringing their talent to the BlackBerry PlayBook and smartphone platforms.
TAT is renowned for their innovative mobile user interface (UI) designs and has a long history of working with mobile and embedded technology.TAT helped develop the original Android interface on the T-Mobile G1. TAT focuses on delivering great user experiences, from a design, technology, and usability perspective. Their design technology is used today in a variety of industries including the consumer electronics and automotive sectors.
The pic of sequel to Blackberry’s Storm series “The Blackberry Storm 3″ has been leaked according to sources. This might be a Photoshop miracle but possibly is Storm 3. After unsuccessful Storm 1 & 2, RIM is hoping to turn tables with this new device.
Specifications are said to include a 3.7-inch display, significantly up from the Storm2′s 3.2-inch and along with 8GB of onboard storage capacity, a 5 megapixel cam and it will be for Blackberry 6 OS. As seen there is an optical trackpad this time. Let’s see what this device comes out to be.
There has been a lot of news of the Blackberry’s upcoming slider phone the BalckBerry 9800, yet again there has been a huge image leaks of RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry 9800 by a website. The market name of the phone is still unknown. The software is identified as version 0.9, but you can clearly tell from the UI that it’s running BlackBerry 6. The phone is AT&T-branded, and it starts up with a carrier logo screen. We hope to see more news on this soon.
