After Moto G success, Flipkart bringing Moto X exclusively to India

After grand success of Motorola Moto G which was exclusively launched by, the online retail giant has bagged exclusive rights to sell Motorola Moto X in India. Flipkart announced the news through a tweet, here a map can be seen with destination as India.

Flipkart has not announced the official release date but it seems that the phone will be launched in the early second quarter. Like the Moto G, it is likely that only black & white colours will be launched in India. Moto X sells for $399 in the US.

Moto G was a super success for Flipkart with the phone being sold out within hours of launch, similar is expected out of Moto X. Flipkart usually presents attractive launch offers alongside the phone which makes the deal unavoidable. Like the Moto G, Moto X is also expected to be priced competitively. It is expected to be launched at around INR 24,000
With a larger display, better specs, good camera & lot more Moto X seems to be an excellent deal.

Google Closes Deal on Motorola Mobility

After a long wait the deal is finally done, Google has completed the acquisition of cellphone maker Motorola Mobility for an all-cash deal.

Google’s CEO Larry Page, made an official announcement on their blog that the deal was finally closed and for a whopping sum of around $12.5 Billion dollar, it is the biggest deal in Google’s history of 14 years. As part of the acquisition, Motorola Mobility chief Sanjay Jha has stepped down from his post. In his place, Google Dennis Woodside to be the mobile firm’s new chief executive.

The main reason Google acquired Motorola Mobility was for its patents. Motorola Mobility has around 17,000 mobile patents. Google is fighting many legal cases around the world over Android patents. Motorola Mobility holds thousands of patents and patent applications that would help in future legal proceedings.

As Dennis Woodside reigns the throne fresh blood will come in and will definitely bring in great changes and innovations. We could hope Motorola on the new line of success.

Motorola Backflip ME600 available in China

Phones sporting a unique design grab a lot of attention from the techno buffs.These phones have something which is never seen before. According to Unwiredview, the Motorola Backflip ME600 handset is available for purchase on the company’s official Motostore website for China.

The phone appears to feature a 3.1” touchscreen that proffers display resolutions of 320 x 480p. It will run Google’s Android mobile OS with Motoblur and feature a full QWERTY keyboard. A Qualcomm processor is expected to be housed within the device along with 256MB RAM.

The phone’s connectivity options span over HSDPA, Wi-Fi and includes WAPI support. It possesses GPS and integrates a 5MP auto focus camera. Apart from that, the device is also speculated to host a 3.5mm headset jack and use a 1400mAh Li-ion battery.

Motorola’s Backflip ME600 flaunts a curious clamshell-like exterior design and is expected to debut in the U.S. via AT&T this March. It is touted to be available across China at 4,298 yuan (approx. Rs.27,831) with an 8GB memory card and car charger.
