Nokia launches 3G-enabled 2730 Classic Phone

Claiming to be the company’s most affordable 3G device in India, the phone sports a compact and sleek fabrication. Loaded with a host of innovative features, it claims to enhance the internet experience to the hilt. The phone is additionally equipped with a wide array of Nokia services such as Ovi Mail, Nokia Messaging and Nokia Life Tools. The browsing capabilities of the phone should enable users to share and manage their life conveniently.

Virgin Mobile launches vFlash hi-speed USB modem

Virgin Mobile has come out with the vFlash hi-speed USB modem that provides internet connectivity without the hassle of wires. It comes with features such as vFlash TV and On-Demand download services.

The USB device offers 8GB data memory space for storing music, videos, documents and similar content. Users are delivered one-touch access to vFlash TV that has 40 channels, On Demand services and search. Data transfer speeds of approximately 3.1MB/s are extended with this modem. It is out in a flaming red colored soft touch finish with swivel design.

“As an introductory promo, we are offering the device at a hard-to-resist 30-day zero rental. In addition, we are also offering vFlash TV & access to unlimited legal downloads on our On Demand service at zero rental till Jan and March-ends respectively. The launch of this product is an example of our commitment to provide simplicity and control in the hands of our customers as it offers various exciting features such as live TV and on demand services,” claimed Deval Parikh, Chief Officer, Handset, VAS and Procurement, Virgin Mobile India.

Virgin Mobile’s vFlash hi-speed USB modem costs Rs.3,499 and comes with tariff plans ragning from Rs.250 to Rs.1,100 per month. Users who purchase the device before January 31, 2010 are given Zero Data Plan rental and Zero rental on vFlash live TV for the first 30 days, while those purchasing it before March 31, 2010 are delivered Zero rental on On Demand services for the first 30 days.
