And now in 2009, when war of smartphones is going on, iPhones and the Androids, here’s Philips latest contraption, it’s first ever Android based phone! Now, this one looks quite cool and as expected, does not offer anything revolutionary over the current crop of Android handsets. In fact, the only thing revolutionary, in case you buy this one, would be the fact that you actually bought a Philips handset. The phone was leaked on a Chinese website, which claimed that they had just received the phone and that they would be reviewing it soon.

The phone is switched off so that we do not get a glimpse at the UI. A 3.2 megapixel camera which features video recording. The display is cool however. It’s a 320×480 affair and will support widgets. Soon we’ll get you more on this. Stay tuned.
